Background information
Once a year we honour organisations that make small and big things happen every day. Everyone comes together at our Charity Gala: Representatives of non-profit organisations, ambassadors and employees of the Deutsche Postcode Lotterie and their players who change the world every day with their tickets. Together, we are committed to equal opportunities, social cohesion and the protection of nature and the environment, and together we celebrate the contribution that each individual makes - our #PostcodeEffect.
As a social lottery, we are convinced that the world benefits from strong non-profit organisations. Thanks to our players all over Germany, we have already been able to support more than 3,500 social and green projects with more than 115 million euros since our foundation in 2016. The funding amount for 2021 will be announced at the Charity Gala.
Our ambassador Kai Pflaume will host the evening, which we will celebrate with our charity partners, many inspiring guests, musical performances and exciting surprises. The theme of the event is "Sharing Hope".

Arrival by public transport
The Böhler site can be reached by underground lines U70, U74 and U76. The corresponding stop is "Lörick".
Parking spaces
Sufficient parking spaces are available on the grounds of Areal Böhler. On the evening of the event, parking attendants will show you the way to the Alte Federnfabrik.
Fire safety measures
A fire drill during the evening is not planned. In the case of a fire alarm, the on-site fire safety officer will escort all guests to the designated assembly points. Fire alarms and marked escape routes are provided in the hall and on the stage.
Photos
Pictures and video recordings will be made during the gala. These serve to document the event and may be used for information and advertising purposes. Further information is available at reception.
Emergency contacts
In the event of an emergency, all guests are to follow the instructions of the emergency contacts (see below) of the Deutsche Postcode Lotterie. The staff of the event location will ensure safety on the premises.
